At the conclusion of the one-month
collection donations included: 304
Shirts, 56 pairs of pants, 28 pairs
of shorts, 7 jackets, 5 vests and
lots of miscellaneous parts
including hats, neckerchiefs, socks
and more. In addition $150 was
contributed.
“We are thrilled with the
response and we are glad we could
help families in need” said Bonnie
Engler, Pilgrim Cleaners President.
In addition to serving as
collection points and cleaning the
uniforms, Pilgrim Cleaners also
distributed flyers with their dry
cleaning orders and took out print
ads in community papers and the Star
Tribune to publicize the drive.
Special thanks also to Martin
Williams Advertising who designed
and produced the promotional
posters, print ads, live-read radio
spots.
The uniforms are being sorted and
sized for distribution to Scouts and
leaders who cannot afford to
purchase them. Requests should be
made through your district
executive.
